Within Edelman we are immediately looking for a Business Controller.

As Business Controller you will work closely together with Edelman’s Business Analyst and the other Business Controllers from the other OPCO’s. Edelman is part of a dynamic group with four other OPCOs. These other OPCOs are located in North Brabant.

What will you be doing?

  • You are the financial business partner of the Managing Director, Sales Director and Buying Director. You support the Managing Director with budget presentations to the (Group) Board and BoA. Together with the Business Analyst you provide insight into financial data and discuss this with the OPCO management team. This includes commercial KPI’s and pricing models.
  • Leading an experienced Business Analyst
  • You will identify trends, exploit opportunities and ensure risk management. We expect you to proactively advise and challenge management. You delve into the various (also non-financial) processes and do further analysis if processes are not running well
  • Advising Edelman management on strategic and financial issues. You will draw up multi-year plans and financial scenarios. You will be part of ongoing projects
  • You work closely with the Director Business Control, other Business Controllers, Financial Controllers and colleagues in the finance department. You will ensure good coordination between Business Control and Financial Control.
  • You will participate in group-wide projects, including the implementation of an FCCS (planning) tool, PowerBI dashboards and a new ERP implementation for the group.

Who are we looking for?

  • You are mainly present in Reeuwijk, but you have no problem travelling to Eindhoven on a regular basis.
  • You are passionate about guiding management in steering the business and understanding and communicating the financial data.
  • You get energy from a crucial role in group formation and upcoming projects
  • You have demonstrable experience in a similar role, preferably within a group structure
  • You have a completed college education in Finance
  • You have experience with Microsoft Dynamics (advantage)
  • You have strong analytical skills, with which you give proactive advice based on sharp analyses and critical evaluation of figures
